Office Gemini specializes in delivering integrated software solutions for the capture, management, and collaboration of mission-critical data and documents for enterprises around the globe. Office Gemini has offices in 4 countries with over 400 partners worldwide in targeted sectors such as IT Consulting, Document Management, Scanning Services, Data Management, and Software Integration Specialists. Our customer based ranges from the small/medium sized business to the larger corporate/enterprise level accounts across a wide range of industries and vertical markets. We are growing and we are seeking a Software Systems Engineer in our headquarters in Houston, Texas. Office Gemini is looking for an Software Systems Engineer to develop Windows and Web based applications in the document management business. You will be working with other programmers in a team environment using Agile methodology. Must be committed, engaged, self-motivated, decisive, adaptable, data driven and objective.

Requirements

• Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full time basis for anyone other than current employer both now and in the future
• 2+ years of experience designing and developing application software
• Proficiency in C#, and advanced knowledge of .NET (4 and higher) and Angular 6
• Ability to write high quality, well tested code as a front end web based application with JavaScript, CSS & HTML
• Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of Mircrosoft SQL Server and other data storage technologies
• Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
• Experience in working with third-party libraries and API
• Ability to manage multiple, complex, and diverse projects
• Ability to collaborate well on a cross functional team
• Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with mobile applications in iOS, Android (Hybrid and Ioniq) is a plus
• Bachelor in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Successful candidate will present a professional appearance and attitude

Responsibilities

• Utilize tools, technology and various methodologies to create functional and intuitive solutions for user interfaces of desired products
• Working within an Agile team to develop and implement product specifications alongside Product Owner
• Participate in sprint and release planning, including defining tasks and providing estimates
• Suggest and implement solutions for process improvement
• Ability to build positive working relationships across groups within the organization
• Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts for Office Gemini products
• Improve software product performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting and integrating new elements in database architecture and design
• Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions
• Desire to work in a highly collaborative environment
